LUNAR ECLIPSE @ Briggeman Farms -
FEBRUARY 2008

I took this picture of the
moonrise while I was doing chores in
February a few hours before the Lunar
eclipse started.

Bandit
our full blood Tri-Color Collie.
He is not very brave but the goats don't know that and we're certainly not telling!

Luke, our Australian Shepherd, joined the family in May 2007. He has grown into a very good looking guy and does a great job helping move goats. He & Bandit spend their spare time snoozing in the sun.

Copper
Kathy rides with an all female equestrian group called the Seven Oaks Riders. They perform in parades throughout Michigan during the Summer.
Kathy and Copper have been doing parades together for 10 years, since Copper was a 2 year old and have traveled as far as Chicago for the Thanksgiving Day parade.
They travel to Mackinac Island for the Lilac Festival parade as often as money and time will allow. |

Ginn is Lacy's mom, and we love her dearly, but we don't ride her much anymore. Most of the time you can find her napping in the sun, and enjoying her life!
Before we bought her and Lacy (pictured below) in 2004, Ginn had not been ridden at all, probably ten to twelve years.
She is about 20 years-old, but is still in good health. We hope to have her around for a long time. |

Lacy, on the left, is our youngest Appaloosa. She is a
striking, red roan leopard appaloosa.
